Can this be folded down to make it a bit lower?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, you can but it begins to look strange. I sent mine back because even already folded they looked weird.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, it does unfold. It's not as fitted when you unfold it, so I would not recommend on counting that as a style option if you want the brief to fit well. If you are looking for more coverage, I'd recommend sizing down for the unfolding option. It's very comfortable and flattering when folded.
