I got these on sale and I love them. True to fit for me as a size 20. I'm able to wear them waist high like shown in the photo, but it's also very easy and comfortable pull them down to hip height. I'm a trans man and I wanted something that was a little gender queer or unisex, but made to fit someone with curves. These fit the bill.

Wore them under my swim skirt bottom for our Belize adventure and the held up great. We were hiking, swimming across rivers, swimming through caves & then climbing, and these kept me comfortable, modest and no chaffing. loved them so much ended up wearing them for our snorkeling days too. originally thought they were a bit big on the top, but ended up appreciating how high they went - for when my tankini top rode up, I was still covered. original time I put them on heard the dreaded stretch/rip of elastic stretching - but they ended up holding their shape well, better quality than expected for price

My sister told me about long bike short swimwear and I did a search and found these. FANTASTIC! I will never go back. No chub rub even when cave tubing, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, or just playing in the ocean.

    I have the 2 piece set in a 12 top and 14 shorts, though it fits well now (purchased 1 month ago) the bottoms are just a bit loose, the coverage is excellent and are comfortable. I also purchased the size 12 shorts because i'm just afraid that with wear the size 14 buttoms purchased will become will get too loose

    BEST ANSWER: I have not tried that before. The material is not made for that and doesn't have the cushion for it, but I guess you could try for a short time. I have a feeling they wouldn't last as long.

    Absolutely. I haven't had the pleasure of wearing mine yet as it's still cold here in New England but I would say you can wear in the water and as a bike short.
